Winter Sessions

We are going to run some winter 'training' session in the Queen's Park using the old cycle race track around the cricket pitch.
Sessions will be on the 1st Sunday of the month - 7th January, 4th February & 4th March. A one hour session 8.30am to 9.30am.

Sessions are for children and adults to take part. No specific coaching, just an opportunity to complete some laps of the track. We will be based next to the cricket pavilion and for club insurance and safety please report there before riding. No need to stay for the full hour, just do as many laps as you wish.

We had hoped to start in December 2017 but unfortunately work installing drainage across the track has prevented this.

Tonight was our last evening session of the year, its getting too dark! We'll start again after the Easter school holidays.

Club Session

Our first session of the autumn term went well with 15 children coming along. Hope to see you all next week.

Winter Sessions

We are considering starting monthly sessions on the old cycle racing track around the cricket pitch in the Queen's Park. Just an opportunity to do laps with others. But we need to know if anyone is interested! They will be on a Saturday or Sunday probably just for an hour.

Autumn Sessions

We are going to start the autumn sessions on Thursday September 14th. 6.00pm to 7.00pm at the rear of Old Hall school.

Autumn Sessions

We hope to start our autumn programme of sessions on either 7th or 14th September. Please look out for announcements shortly.

We are considering starting sessions in the Queen's Park on a Saturday using the old cycle race track around the cricket pitch. These would be aimed at both adults and children basically just using the track to train on. These sessions could run through the winter when we have to stop the evening sessions. Please discuss with the coaches if you are interested.

Great last session of this term last night using our obstacle course. Club sessions will return in September.

Wet Session!

Despite the wet conditions we still had 11 turn up for the club session this evening!

Thursday 15th June Meeting

Very sorry but we have to cancel this week's club session on 15th June. Three of our coaches have other commitments.
Club session on 22nd June will be our next.

Summer term sessions

We are starting again on Thursday June 8th and will meet every week until Thursday 20th July.

2017 Sessions

We are starting our 2017 sessions on Thursday 4th May! This year the sessions will be every week during term time 6.00pm to 7.00pm.
Usual venue at the back of Old Hall Junior School on Old Road.

We now have funding for additional coaches, if interested please email or talk to Paul or Alastair on a club night.

2017 Club Sessions

We are hoping to start the club sessions soon after the Easter break, look out for a date announcement shortly!

Dr Bike

Get your bike ready for the summer at these monthly bike workshops in the Queen's Park north car park. First Saturday of the month April to October. Mechanics from Wheely Fun Wheels and Brampton Cyclery on hand to do free checks and adjustments, any parts used charged at cost.

Family Ride

The last of our winter family rides will be on Saturday 11th March.

Leaving from the Queen's Park north car park at 11.00am we will probably cycle to Holmebrook Valley Park and back dependant on weather.

We expect normal club sessions to resume after Easter. Thursday evenings at Old Hall Primary School.

Our family ride at its destination Holmebrook Valley Park today. Thanks to the six riders who turned up. Our next ride will be in March - details to follow.

Our next family ride will be on Saturday 14th January. We will cycle up the Holmebrook Valley Trail to do a circuit of the lake at Holmebrook Valley Park and return.
All welcome (whether with children or not!). There is a short on road section crossing Ashgate Road.
